# From Community Priorities to Agreements

InnovateUS workshop · 12 January 2027 · 60 minutes · upcoming: registration on the workshop page

How can community priorities translate into concrete commitments? Learn how community benefit agreements, good neighbor agreements, host community agreements, and related mechanisms are developed, and how responsibilities differ among governments, developers, community organizations, and residents.

Explore how public agencies can support negotiation processes, bring evidence about local conditions and public service needs to the conversation, and help establish commitments that are specific enough to implement and monitor. Examine how continued community participation can strengthen negotiations and help ensure agreements reflect local priorities.

Part of the series [AI Data Centers: Community Engagement, Agreements, and Accountability](https://innovate-us.org/workshop-series/ai-data-centers-community-engagement-agreements-and-accountability).
