An Ethics Ecosystem for AI and Big Data: Why? What? How?
Led by: John Basl
Join us for this 90-minute virtual training with John Basl, Associate Director of the Northeastern University Ethics Institute, where he leads AI and Data Ethics Initiatives. In this workshop, Basl will discuss the challenges in developing ethical artificial intelligence (AI) based systems in the current absence of a robust ethics ecosystem that helps distribute ethical reasoning, decision-making, and responsibility. Basl will highlight some of the key questions surrounding responsible use of AI, including fairness and transparency, and will discuss what we can do individually and collectively to navigate an increasingly challenging ethical landscape.
