Data Series: Data Collaboration and Governance

In this 60-minute virtual training on data collaboration, participants will learn about different models of data collaboratives, including data pooling, corporate data philanthropy, challenges, and intermediaries, and will understand the advantages and challenges of the different models, with accompanying case studies to highlight each model. Participants will learn about the importance of governance in data collaboration, how to craft data-sharing agreements, and how to address privacy, security, and ethical concerns around data collaboration. The workshop will also provide an overview of the technical requirements and infrastructure for effective data collaboration, including access, transfer, and storage, and introduce tools, platforms, and solutions for facilitating responsible data collaboration.
