Designing AI with Humans in Mind: Insights on Inclusion, Productivity, and Strategy
Led by: Jamie Kimes & Josh Martin
As artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into government operations, public sector leaders face critical questions about how this technology impacts their teams. In this interactive session, Josh Martin, former Chief Data Officer for the State of Indiana, and Jamie Kimes, founder of The Idea Garden, will explore how AI can be a force for good—especially when it comes to supporting neurodiverse individuals and unlocking new forms of human potential. The conversation will also address a rising tension in many agencies: while productivity is increasing with AI, so is anxiety among employees. Participants will gain tools to recognize these dynamics and shape long-term strategies that prioritize inclusion, trust, and team well-being.
This workshop is designed for public sector professionals working in technology, human resources, organizational development, and leadership roles—and for anyone interested in creating more inclusive, people-centered strategies for AI integration.
