Prompting Lab Office Hours: Bring your AI Question

Led by: Deborah Stine

Join Deborah Stine for an interactive office hours session designed for public professionals continuing their work with generative AI for everyday workflows. Building on Using Generative AI to Improve Everyday Workflows for Public Professionals, this peer-to-peer learning space invites participants to share real tasks, ask questions, refine prompts, and troubleshoot how AI can be used responsibly to improve efficiency, clarity, and quality in daily government work.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Test and improve generative AI prompts using their own real workflow tasks, with live feedback from peers and the facilitator.

  • Troubleshoot common issues that arise when using AI for everyday government work, such as unclear outputs, overconfidence, or poor structure, and adjust workflows accordingly.

  • Adapt peer-shared examples of AI-supported workflows to their own roles while maintaining responsible, transparent public-sector use practices.
