Responsible AI for Public Legal Professionals
Led by: Beth Simone Noveck
This workshop addresses potential benefits and risks of artificial intelligence (AI) for public legal professionals. The goal of this workshop is to learn how to use generative AI responsibly to enhance public lawyering. In this 90-minute conversation, we adopt a four-part framework: 1) What Is AI?; 2) AI Use Cases, 3) Risks; and 4) Creating an AI-ready Culture. Learners will leave the workshop with an understanding of how responsible use of generative artificial intelligence could be used to enhance the work of public lawyers, including relevant examples for their own work. Note: This is a closed event for members of the New York Office of the Attorney General.
