From Ideas to Action: Leading and Implementing Change in Government
3 sessions: February 2
9 and 23
About the Series
Improving government doesn't always require a new policy, a large budget, or a leadership position. Public professionals at every level can identify opportunities to improve how their organizations work, but turning good ideas into lasting change requires practical skills, collaboration, and the ability to navigate organizational challenges.
This introductory, three-part workshop series will help public professionals develop the skills to lead and implement change, regardless of their role or level of authority. Through practical exercises and real government examples, participants will learn how to turn ideas into actionable plans, build support among colleagues and stakeholders, overcome common barriers, and put improvements into practice.
The series will help participants take initiative, work collaboratively, and assess progress to make meaningful improvements in their organizations and deliver better public services.
