Join us for this 90-minute virtual workshop with Grayson Bass, founding Lab Manager of the award-winning and internationally recognized Smart Waterloo Region Innovation Lab in Canada. In this training, Grayson will talk about how to resolve the conflict and perceived paradox of government innovation. He will discuss the fundamental building blocks of creating a Government Innovation Lab, including putting people and compassion first, involving the most important stakeholders, and hacking the procurement process. Grayson will highlight the difference between making progress and showing progress and demonstrate how you can learn from his Lab’s successes and failures to bring innovation into your own work.
