U.S. Digital Corps (USDC) fellowship applications for early-career technologists interested in launching impactful careers in public service and creating a more effective, equitable government are now open.
USDC bridges existing public interest technology internship opportunities and established civic tech organizations by providing a two-year, full-time fellowship for new and recent graduates to kickstart their careers in government. Fellows will start in August 2024 and will work on high-impact projects like improving the customer experience of government, enhancing agency cybersecurity, improving public health, and more. The fellowship offers remote, hybrid, and in-person positions with competitive pay and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and a path to a long-term position.
The program consists of five tracks individuals can apply for, including software engineering, data science and analytics, product management, design, and cybersecurity. USDC is supporting President Biden’s recent executive order on safe, secure, and trustworthy artificial intelligence by hiring early-career technologists with data science and analytics backgrounds—including in AI and other AI-enabling skills.
Interested in applying? Visit the U.S. Digital Corps website to sign up for an upcoming information session to hear from current Fellows about the opportunity and learn more about the application process.
Applications for all five tracks will close at 11:59 p.m. ET on November 17. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early, as there is an application limit that may cause applications to close before the deadline.
