Seeing the Unseen: Identifying and Mitigating Bias in Government AI

Led by: TBD

This session examines how bias can enter AI systems through data, design choices, and institutional practices—and how those biases can be replicated or amplified in government contexts. Participants will explore practical frameworks for identifying bias, applying mitigation strategies, and designing governance and accountability processes that support fairness, transparency, and ongoing oversight.
